Well its 7:25am and they took Paxton back to surgery about 15 minutes ago. We are very thankful that he slept through his 3am feeding, but woke up at 4am wanting some food. I gave him some water, which he was fine with, he just wanted more. He did really good this morning considering he is tired and hungry.
I know this surgery is minor but its still something that pulls on your heartstrings as a parent. Stupid shots are bad enough and something you hate to do to your child, but when your baby, no matter what age, is going through something that would inflict pain, it tears you apart. I can't imagine how parents deal with kids that have cancer or some other life threatening disease. To see your helpless little kid going through something dramatic is just more than a parent can take. I am thankful for healthy kids and thankful that God is always with us, holding us as we go through the good times and the bad times that life brings our way.
