I'm still here!

I feel like I'm living in the dark ages. I HATE not being able to get on the internet and blog or check friends' blogs whenever I want. We are still getting settled in at our new house. We LOVE our house and feel so blessed to have it. They are putting up our privacy fence this week. I'm so glad we went ahead and got that. The neighbors to either side of us are related and they cut through our backyard ALL the time. They let their little kid play in our yard and have no consideration that its our property and that we may not appreciate them doing what they are doing. I would NEVER walk through someones yard, unless I knew them. All this will end by the end of the week. We STILL don't have our refrigerator upstairs. Its a "special order" product and they told me that it would take 2 weeks to get in, that was over 2 weeks ago. Our front door was a "special order" and it was only suppose to take 2 wks too, but ended up taking a month to get in, hopefully, that won't be the case with the fridge. Its getting real old going up and down the stairs to get food.
I feel like my head has been spinning for the past few weeks, and don't know what I have written about lately. Adriana started school, the same week we moved, and she LOVES it! A lot of her friends from her old class, last year are in her class this year. She told me to today, that she loves her new teachers. She is talking more and more all the time and telling big stories. She remembers every detail to everything and she doesn't want to leave anything out while she's telling her stories. Its so cute and funny to watch her talk.
We went this last weekend to the Lake of the Ozarks, with my best friend, Susan and her husband, Jim. This is the fourth year we have done a trip with them and we look forward to it every year. Its a great break from kids and a relaxing time with a friend I don't get to see but a couple times a year. We didn't do much but relax and eat good food. Of course, we squeezed in some shopping. We ended up camping, which was a lot of fun. To be honest, I wasn't sure how being 30 weeks pregnant, I was going to enjoy camping, but it turned out to be a good time.
Speaking of being pregnant, I had another doctors appointment the Friday we left for our trip. I had only gained 1lbs, which made me so happy! I gained so much weight with Adriana, close to 60lbs, and never lost even half of that weight, so I'm excited that I'm doing better this go around. The baby is healthy and doing good. I have another appointment in 2 weeks.
I know none of this is very exciting, and I'm sorry that I don't have any pictures up. Its hard for me to download pictures onto some other computer. I hope to get something up soon. I'll try to post as much as I can, but don't know if its going to be more than once a week, for a while.
Hope everyone is doing good!

Plans for the weekend

We are leaving in 2 days for our annual trip with my best friend, Susan, and her husband. We are going to the Lake of the Ozarks for a couple of days and camping. I don't know how well I'll do camping being about 30 weeks pregnant, but I think its going to be fun. It will be a good break for us to get away for a couple of days.
The house is slowly but surely coming along. Just all the random junk laying around that needs a home. I'll try to get pictures up after our trip.
I still feel lost without internet. Its hard not to be able to stay "connected" to everyone, like I would like too.
Hope everyone is going good. Have a good rest of the week and weekend!

Updates!

Sorry no pictures today. We are still without Internet and the word is, that we may be without Internet for about 3 months. I don't know how we can have the Internet about 3 blocks away but at our new house we have nothing.
I will try to update my blog as much as I can, I miss writing in it, and feel like I'm going to miss out on telling some things, but I'll do the best I can.
We are still getting settled into our new house. We love it! We are about 80% done with unpacking. Its so hard to get anything done with a needy 2 year old, but we are getting there. We had a little bit of a stressful move and closing, but we are alive to tell about it. To sum it up, we didn't really have much help moving and it took over 9 hours to get the big stuff loaded and unloaded, just because of the lack of help. I'm so thankful to have a strong and hard working husband that was able to do so much. We had our new refrigerator delivered on Monday, but soon found out that it was way too big to fit in our kitchen. Unfortunately, our refrigerator goes as soon as you walk in the kitchen and it was just too deep and stuck out in the middle of the walk way into the kitchen. The poor guys from Lowes was probably ready to kill me after they lugged it up the staircase. It took the poor workers about 2 hours to get in the door and then dismantle it and get it back out the door. I had to go back that day and order another, smaller one. That refrigerator won't be in for another 2 weeks. Luckily, we have another refrigerator down in the garage. The only bad thing is when you want something from the fridge, you have to run downstairs. Makes you think twice about wanting some ice for your drink!
If that's the worse thing that happens in the move, I'll take it. God has been really good to us and has watched over us through this whole thing.
I will try to get some pictures up soon. I'm such a perfectionist, that I won't take any pictures until I get everything put away.
Adriana is loving her new house and new toy closet, however, she tells us everyday that she loves her old house and she wants to go back home. It doesn't help that we have to drive past that house everyday. Its sad when she says she misses her old house.
We all have adjusted well and Zoe is even doing good. We'll keep you posted as we can.
