So many times in interviews they ask you, "where do you see yourself 5 years from now?". That question always stumped me. How is anyone suppose to know where they are going to be or what they are going to be doing in 5 years? I think life throws too many curve balls to predict the future. I know that everyone has an answer as to what they want to be doing, where they want to be working, how successful they are going to be and what their home life is going to be like in 5 years, but very rarely does it ever turn out the way we think.
For me, 5 years ago was the beginning of my senior year in college. I had no idea what the future held for me. If you would have told me that I would be where I am today then, I would have never believed you. Within the last 5 years, I have met and married my best friend, Ryan. I have lived in Nashville, TN, as an attempt to spread my wings and get a "dream" career. I have moved 6 times. I have gained and lost friendships. And my biggest suprise that I have had, is having our daughter, and I mean that in a good way. If you would have asked me when I was going to have kids, even 2 years ago when I got married, I would have told you at least 3-5 years from now, but God had His own plan in all of that. She is a huge blessing and it has been a very good suprise in our lives. I guess my point to all of this is just the realization of how unpredictable life is. I'm sure there are things in your lives that you would have never seen coming. Some we welcome with open arms and some we accept kicking and screaming. Life is funny that way, and through every bend in the road, can come something new. So I just have one question for you..."Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?".

Happy 4th of July!!
Well, I know that it has been awhile since I last was able to write in. I have decided to stay at home with Adriana and therefore do not have access to the Internet on a regular basis. We are all doing so good right now. We are currently in Montgomery, AL visiting Ryans family. It was our first big road trip with a baby, and I must say I am pleasantly surprised at how well she has done. How is it when I want to run to Sonic for a drink or run to the bank, that is within 3 miles of our house, she kicks and screams the whole time, but when we drive 600 miles away from home, she is happy as a lark. Oh well, I would much rather hear screaming for 15 minutes rather than for 15 hours.
Ryan is really liking his job. He is off all week and is enjoying his time off.
We love being down here with his family. This is the first time his sisters has seen Adriana, and this is the first time we have been able to meet our new niece, Riley, who is a beautiful baby. I hate that we are so far from family. I wish we could all be so much closer. I hate that we can't see each other more than just a few times a year. Maybe someday we can all live closer and see each other more.
Well I guess that's all I'll ramble on about for now. Thanks for listening. Happy 4th to everyone, and I'll try to write more later.

Adriana is growing so fast!

I can't believe that Adriana is 3 months old already! She is changing everyday and getting so big. It is so sad to me to think that she won't ever be this little ever again. I love having her at this age, and I know that a lot of people can't wait for their baby to get bigger, but she is such a little snuggle bug. She is at a real fun stage and smiling all the time, I love her little toothless smile! We are so blessed to have her in our lives.

Life is Crazy
Alright, I have to confess, I have never blogged before, and I really don't know what I'm doing, but I thought it would be cool to kind of have our own website and keep people posted on whats going on in our world. We have family spread throughout the US, mainly down in the south, and this is a good way to keep connected to all of you. You will have to forgive these first few blogs, if they don't make sense or they are boring, I apologize. Also forgive me for any misspellings. Well the latest in our life is that I have quit my job and our babysitter has quit all at the same time. We are at a crossroad right now, on what to do. We are praying for what God wants for our family, and I know that His timing is perfect, but I would be lying if I told you that I wasn't a little scared as to what we are suppose to be doing. I know God will provide for us and give us what we need, but all of this is a huge leap of faith. I hate that I had to quit my job, but I just don't fit in there anymore and its time for me to move on. The Devil has gotten me really down about the whole thing and I'm trying not to let him win this battle. Pray for us, the next few weeks will be scary till we figure out something.
Well, I guess that's all I'll write for now, I hope I did alright and didn't let anyone down. :) I'll try to keep this pretty updated. After I leave my job next week, I won' t have access to the internet on a regular basis, but I will do my best.
Thanks for reading and keep checking back for updates.
