At the beginning of this summer, we had talked about putting Adriana in swimming lessons. My dad really wanted her to have good lessons so that she would be equipped with the skills needed to swim good. My parents were gracious enough to pay for the lessons, so it wouldn't be a stress on us. We talked up swimming lessons, telling Adriana how much fun she would have with them. Well, she did NOT want anything to do with them. We had told her that she would probably be putting her head under water, and she didn't want any part of it. As it got closer and closer, I was really starting to worry about how she was going to do with going. She kept telling me, "I'll go next year". Well the Saturday before her lessons, Ryan took her to the pool to swim, just him and her. They came back all excited, "Mommy, I put my head under water!". She was so proud of herself. Well, that was a turning point, she was SO ready for lessons to start that next week. Adriana LOVED, LOVED, LOVED swimming lessons. She had a really good teacher and a small class. She looked forward to it everyday, and couldn't wait until the next class. She was really sad to end lessons, but we'll get her signed up next year for the next level. She loves swimming under water (and is pretty good at it too), she loves doing diving rings and kicking her feet under water. She has blossomed into quite a little fish. here are some pictures from her lessons.

I'm so glad that she loved them so much and I'm even more happy that Paxton did so great everyday, for 2 weeks going out there and sitting by the pool, in this humidity for 45 minutes without any incidents. Thank you Mimi and Pa for the swimming lessons.
