This was my child last night. She looks crazy doesn't she? She is so silly. She just kept walking around last night with both "passies" in her mouth. I don't know if her teeth were bothering her or if she just didn't want to share, either way, it was cute!

Country Girl
Here are some pictures from a farm/park we went to a couple of weeks ago. I don't remember the name of the place, but it was a family park that our church rented out that had animals you could pet. Adriana loved watching the animals and interacting with them. Her favorite ones were the chickens and roosters. She kept sticking her hand through the fence to try to pet them, but we were scared she was going to get bit. My dad stuck his finger through there and a rooster came over and bit him so hard, it instantly drew blood. I guess my dad should have known better. Between watching children and seniors (my parents) I had my hands full at the picnic. :)

Lost and Found
Well we had a little excitement tonight. In our little backyard we have a chain link fence that encloses the majority of our backyard. We normally let Zoe out there to roam around and "hunt". Zoe isn't the outdoor cat, and frightens very easily. She was out there tonight while I was cutting the grass. We were distracted by our lawn mower acting up and figuring out dinner plans and before we knew it, we had lost track of Zoe. We were back tracking our steps and I told Ryan the last thing I knew, she was in the back. We looked high and low for her. We looked in closets in the house and behind every closed door. She was nowhere to be found. She is all white, so she normally stands out like a sore thumb amongst all the grass, but we still didn't see her. By this time I was really getting worried. I got in our car and drove up and down the street a couple of times. There are stray dogs that roam around from time to time and we had seen one earlier tonight, so that made us even more worried. Zoe has no claws so she couldn't defend herself if she had to. I decided to drive in the field behind our house looking for her. Ryan flagged me down in the field, and told me he found her in the brush. Needless, to say we were so relieved. Its funny how an animal can be such a big part of your family. I know she's just a cat, and most people hate cats, but to us she was our first baby and we don't know what we would do if we lost her. We love our Zoe girl!

Tiny Bubbles
Adriana seems to be learning more and more everyday. That kid is smart (and I'm not just saying that because she's my daughter). She doesn't miss a beat, its hard to get anything pass her. With this awareness that she has, she also knows what pushes by buttons and likes to get me worked up. Example, she will sit in her highchair and throw food on the floor. She knows she's not suppose to, but that doesn't stop her. Now, she will wait till I look at her before throwing her cup or food on the floor. She will be ready to eat a piece of cheese, or whatever delectable food I have for her that day, and as soon as I look at her, she'll take it and throw it on the floor. Mind you, she doesn't do it with anyone else except for me. She tests my patience everyday.
On a positive note, her new word to say and new obsession is "ball". Balloons and balls are "ball". Its cute how she says it, its almost with a southern accent. Anytime she sees balloons or balls out and about or on TV all I hear is "ball, ball". To show you how smart she is. Most wal-mart's have a huge ball pit in the middle isle in the toy section. She has seen this once and anytime we get near that section, I hear "ball, ball". She doesn't even have to see the 15 foot ball pit and she knows we are close. She also has discovered bubbles. She'll say "bub, bub". Ryan took her outside to blow "bub, bubs" the other day and it was so cute. She loves watching them float in the sky. She also likes eating the wand that you dip into the bubbles. I love watching her learn new things and see things through her eyes.

Updates
Its been a couple of weeks since I have sat down and wrote. I don't plan on making this posting very long, because I'm tired and want to go to bed. Since I have wrote last, we have been to Alabama for a couple of days and had a great time, as usual. Ryan's best friend got married and Ryan was in the wedding. Ryan got to see some friends from high school that he hasn't seen for 10 years, so he had fun catching up with them and talking about old times.
Adriana is getting over being sick. I can't tell if she's sick from getting new teeth in or if she had a little cold, but I'm over runny noses, fevers and coughing, and I know she is too. I had to run to Wal-mart today for some things and she was "that kid" in the store. You know, the one that has a screaming fit if she doesn't get what she wants? Yeah, that was mine today. I'm going to blame the behavior on her not feeling good, but I was totally humiliated and reminded at the same time, that terrible two's are just around the corner, if not already rearing its ugly head.
Today was the first time to cut our own grass as home owners. It was quite an experience. We bought a lawn mower from a friend, but when he dropped it off, it wouldn't run. Anyway, a friend of the family came out to our house today, from Branson, out of the goodness of his heart to help me get the thing running. I'm so thankful that he was able to work on it and get it going, because it saved us a ton of money. Our grass had gotten so big it was like the amazon Forrest. I didn't feel too bad because the neighbors on either side also had tall grass, but, of course, they had cut theirs on Sunday, so then we really stuck out like a sore thumb. It was in desperate need of cuttin'. The grass so tall and thick I had to stop several times to breathe (which shows you how out of shape I'm in) and had to have Ryan come out and finish. I'm sore tonight! I haven't cut grass in at least 10 years, this old body isn't use to much exercise let alone pushing around a heavy piece of machinery! At least it got cut and looks good now.
Well, now that I have made this longer than I wanted to, I'm heading to bed. I know, its only 9:30pm, but there's nothing on TV and I'm pooped out! I'll try to post pictures and more sometime this week.

Sold Out!
Well, I'm sure you guys have lost sleep this weekend wondering how our garage sale did, well, we sold out! I'm so excited! We had a chest of drawers and dresser with mirror, a 6'x6' Entertainment center, coffee table and end table, and an Armiore. The furniture was obviously the biggest things we were wanting to get rid of. After marking all the furniture down every couple of hours, finally around 1pm we had 2 different people come in and buy all our funiture. We did good selling everything else and only had a couple of boxes going to Goodwill. We made over $500, not bad for selling a bunch of junk! I'm so glad to have this whole thing over and hopefully that will be my only on for the year.

Random Thoughts
Well, its another Friday and I am getting ready for yet ANOTHER garage sale! Last week, was cold and wet and we didn't do well at all, so hopefully, we will have better luck tomorrow. So, as always, I need to be working on that stuff, and I'm in here writing a blog. This is kind of a random one, but I thought you would like seeing some new pictures. Have a great weekend!
SISTERLY LOVE
Adriana has really learned to give hugs and kisses, especially when it comes to our cat, Zoe. Zoe is still not wild about her sister, but is getting better about being near her. Last night Adriana was trying to love on her sister, as she does so much, and for once, Zoe laid there long enough to tolerate it.
HAT HAIR
Adriana loves wearing this Elmo hat I bought for $2 and will just wear it around the house all the time. We also have other things like bunny ears and a flower head band that she likes to wear (although I think her daddy likes to wear those just as much). Anyway, she loves wearing her hat and her Zoe Purse (Zoe from Sesame Street) and walking around like a little old lady. Sometimes, she will do double duty and wear her hat and ears at the same time.
OUR NEW TV
Alright, I was bored today and took a picture of our new TV. We love it and are glad we went ahead and bought it. As you can see nothing but ELMO is on the screen, but in HD of course, and our Sanford and Son antenna (or what we like to call poor man's cable) poking out from the back. And don't worry grandparents, I don't normally let Adriana lay that close to the TV. As you can see from the third picture, she didn't lay there too long, because its the same scene on the TV and little Miss Busy Body is back to work.
